Seit 2014 bin ich bei ADAPT Apartments in Berlin im Housekeeping als leitende Hausdame angestellt. Seitdem habe hier schon viele wunderbare Arbeitstage erlebt. Im Vergleich zur klassischen Hotelbranche scheinen die Gäste bei uns noch respektvoller im Umgang mit den Räumlichkeiten zu sein. Vor allem die Longstay-Gäste fühlen sich wirklich wie zuhause bei uns. Und so lernt man manche Gäste auch ein bisschen kennen mit der Zeit – was auch den Arbeitsplatz zu einem zweiten Zuhause werden lässt. Während der Corona-Pandemie hat sich das Bewusstsein um Hygiene-Standards allgemein und auch bei uns verschärft, gleichzeitig habe ich jedoch auch mehr Wertschätzung und Anerkennung für meinen Beruf und meine Expertise erfahren. Ich fühle mich vom gesamten Kollegium sowie der Geschäftsführung voll und ganz unterstützt und als gleichwertiges Mitglied des Teams. Meine Meinung zählt, und ich habe die Möglichkeit, aktiv mitzugestalten und Entscheidungen zu treffen.

In October 2020, I started at ADAPT Apartments at the reception, right in the middle of the pandemic. What convinced me from the very beginning was the openness and multiculturalism – people from different generations and cultures work together here. At ADAPT, I was able to grow professionally and develop into the head of the reception, as well as get to know modern technologies and systems that take guest interaction to the next level.
Thanks to the stable work environment, I was also able to successfully complete my immigration processes and obtain my citizenship. For me, ADAPT Apartments is more than just a job – it’s like a second family that supports and nurtures its employees. Here, I can apply my language skills daily and live my passion for hospitality and customer service.

Hello, I’m Mandy and I’ve been part of the ADAPT family since 2016. I really enjoy working at ADAPT because it’s not just a job for me – it also allows me to grow personally. My hidden talents were recognized and nurtured through targeted training and development programs. This allowed me to grow from a receptionist to a COO – an opportunity I might never have had without ADAPT.
I especially appreciate the open communication and the respectful way we treat each other. No matter if it’s about professional questions or personal concerns, I always find a listening ear. Thanks to the various locations, I have the opportunity to work from home, for example, in the modern ADAPT Apartments Wetzlar. That is a big plus for me.
The whole experience is topped off with the occasional barbecue evening on the rooftop terrace. ADAPT is more than just an employer to me – it’s a family where I feel comfortable and can thrive.
